GATE INSTRUCTIONS
Stop at the entrance booth and the porter will direct you to the gate.
Enter the gate tent and tell the volunteer your name.
All children must be registered (even if they are Kingdom guests)
You may be asked to show proof of identity & SCA membership.
The volunteer will give you a packet including the parking pass to be displayed in your vehicle.
If you are camping with a group, you will be shown your site on the map.
Make sure you get your site token (this is your receipt to the campgrounds and must be worn at all times) and don’t forget to pick up a copy of the Gatebook.
You may be asked to show proof of identity & SCA membership.
Upon agreeing and paying for a weekly pass
The volunteer will give you a packet including the parking pass to be displayed in your vehicle,
If you are camping with a group, you will be shown your site on the map.
Make sure you get your site token (this is your receipt to the campgrounds and must be worn at all times) and don’t forget to pick up a copy of the Gatebook.
You will be informed of how to proceed to the Merchant Check-in where you must show a copy of your valid “Site-specific California Seller’s Permit” and Food Merchant’s must also present a copy of their “Kern County Environmental Health Temporary Food Facility Premit”.
You may be asked to show proof of identity & SCA membership.

The Gate person will direct you to the equestrian coordinator who will show you where to park your trailer and which stall(s) have been designated for your horse(s).

The volunteer will give you a packet including the parking pass to be displayed in your vehicle,

VEHICLES & PARKING
Parking permits must be filled out and displayed at all times.
Parking on the event’s roads is permitted only for loading and unloading.
All RV campers should park their RVs in the designated lot.
Vehicles should be moved to the parking lot if you are not actively loading or unloading.
Do not park in handicapped parking unless you have the appropriate license plates or placard displayed.
Horse trailers can be parked near the stalls in the equestrian area.


Speed limit on all event roads is 10 MPH and will be enforced. All asphalt roads and parking lots in the park are under the jurisdiction of the local police Department and tickets will be issued for highway violations.
Violations of parking and vehicular regulations will result in towing at owner’s expense.


All vehicle and pedestrian traffic must immediately clear all roads and yield the right of way to any emergency vehicles.
